    My email / ticket clients are open 24/7 and check for new emails / tickets every minute. I probably get a few hundred emails a day, a few tickets and a few thousand spam emails asking me to buy little blue pills :p

    Checking them 5-8 times a day. I forward all the 'external' accounts to my hosting account so I have everything organized in one spot.

    It depends really. If I sign up for a couple websites I'll visit my email to activate the registration (and check my inbox too). On an average day, I'll probably check it five times, but there are definitely different factors too.

    I use windows live mail so have all 4 accounts open at once. They update automatically when I get emails.

    Doing business with people who demand instant replies GMail notifier does a great job. I find it important to be notified once someone needs attenion :)

    I check my private account only twice a day tho.

    I always have my Gmail up and I check it when I get a new email. So anywhere between 20 and 50 times a day. All but a few are just MySpace comments and stuff lol.
