How many times We need to repeat a word of targeted keywords in Meta Keywords tag ?

I was in bit of confusion, while reading some books on SEO on internet

some books published that we need to repeat 6 times of keyword in keywords tag and 4times a keyword in description tag..some books say the other

please let me know genuinely how many times a keyword should be repeated in both the above tags,

I would like to mention that don't repeat more than twice of the same keywords in your title, meta description tags. As for meta keywords tag, it might be not so important these days, IMO.

Yes, Meta tags are not so important for Google but Yahoo(Bing) does still attach importance
to the meta tags.

And the meta description is used to generate a snippet - it plays no part in ranking in serps

 

keywords tag not used by google.

 

meta tags is not used by Google for sure and I doubt very seriously yahoo or bing uses them either.

 

Actually description meta tag used by Google. This is what you see sometimes as description on SERP.
