I know that pluggin for firefox, the it turns to the question "Is that safe to use that program, 'cause we have to provide the adsense username and password?"
Your user name and password isn't sent anywhere it shouldn't be. If you really want to make sure, you can take the program appart and look into the coding if you know what you're doing.
@SHFAQ, I am living proof that you won't get banned for checking your account 500 times a day. Now that I know that I am making a certain amount of money per day, I don't check as much. Trust me, Google doesn't care...they are busy checking how much YOU are making THEM. : )
Come on now. Do you really believe that Google cares how many times you check your adsense? Read the Google adsense TOS. It says nothing about this.
I am sure Google doesn't care how many times you check per day! I would have been banned a long time ago then.
Hahaha... google banning for you checking your earnings. Are you really that paranoid? I would have been banned the first day I signed up.
It's your account, you have a duty to look after it or it will get banned. You're better safe than sorry. Honeslty, think about it, logging into your account to check earnings, CTR, Impressions.. how's that going to affect whether your account is safe or not? The only unsafe thing I could see is if someone got a keylogger or something on your computer they would have more chance of getting your username/password as you login so frequently...
I'll check whenever i have nothing to do on the net. The special moment is when I finish my work for the sites; you get to happy seeing the fruit of your effort. Google won't ban you from logging in a million times a day. Just don't click your own ads and give excuse that the ads link to your adsense login page.
checking adsense income many times a day won't increase it. invest that time in link building or optimisation of site.
I check mine maybe 2 times a day on average and sometimes I dont check it at all just watch my FF toolbar.
I heard from a friend of my sister's boyfriend's mother's stepfather that Google considers anyone checking stats more than a couple of times a day is commiting click fraud and is checking to see how much the clicks are earning them.
