If you check more than twice hourly... here is a helpful tip: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=56584
just started...adsense..so its quite exciting and new thing for me... lol i check around 50 times daily...hehe
I use the Google Desktop with the Adsense plug-in for "real time" display. It's not as up to the "minute" as logging in, but's constant.
Is it save to put your adsense login name and pass in such a plug-in as it has been developed by a person out of google ?
yesterday, i just broke my personal all-time record for number of times in checking Adsense account - i did it 14 times! yup, every half hour or so while on the computer...at work, at home...i need to get a life.
these days 1 or 2 =D because I made a new website, I signed-up with adsense few months ago. With my first serious website.
I check once or twice a day, getting upto $3-5 a day with my website atm. Quite depressing when you get $1.40 for 26 clicks :\
Plus the min refresh interval for the status bar adsense tool is all of 300 seconds, and you can refresh the thing manually much more frequently
For me.... my online time daily is around 16 ~ 18 hours online... so.. times it to every 5 ~ 6 minit interval for checking up my adsense.. It's enormous... hehehehe
omg man... do you consider some kind of therapy? Chill out! It's my advice for all who earn less then 100$/month. Take it easy! It's not a fortune!
Yup... i think i should have some kind of therapy... Maybe working therapy.. After being retrench at previous company (about 3 years already), I've no permanent job but still maintained my live via Research Grant and some part time consulting job that i've done. But my wife is "killing" me on permanent job issue.. Hope that i will get a reliable and secure permanent job in the future.
I've been checking it so much the past couple of days, I've just changed my Adsense settings to receive reports via email. Must resist temptation!
Hey guys, I am the creator of the Firefox extension Adsense Notifier. Thanks for all the kind words, glad that many of you find the extension so useful. In regards to the security of your Adsense username and password, one should always take care to ensure that any of the programs and extensions that they install on their computer are trustworthy. Any program that you install on your PC _could_ have the capability to steal your passwords. To that, the source code for Adsense Notifier is completely open source (released under the GPL) and is actually included within the .XPI install file. To view the source yourself simply rename the .XPI to .ZIP and unzip, then under the 'chrome' directory, rename the .JAR to .ZIP and unzip. This contains the actual code that runs the notifier. Again, I appeciate the feedback from all of you. Many of the features added have been from direct suggestions by users from DP. Thanks --mincus BTW, The extension is available from the following locations: http://code.mincus.com/?p=3 https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=500
