The "I'm Feeling LuckyTM" button automatically takes you to the first web page returned for your query. An "I'm Feeling Lucky" search means less time searching for web pages and more time looking at them. try below link http://www.google.co.in/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=&btnI=I'm+Feeling+Lucky&meta=
Awhile ago If you typed in Failure and hit "I'm feeling lucky" it would take you too President Bush's biography on the whitehouse.gov site. haha
All it does is make the page that has the first listed search result show up, but kind of a pointless function if you ask me.
I've read that nobody really uses it but they keep it because people have said they feel more comfortable with it being there.
It takes you to most relevant link and bypass all other Google results. Its upto you, how you are feeling lucky yourself by that routing... -
Read in interview of a Google insider; she told its very rarely used by searchers. Though i never use it.
A ton per day. I do the FireFox keywords to get to my favorite sites all the time. Maybe 20-50 times a day. It always shows the url quickly go to google then where I want to go. So it's just a glorified "I'm feeling lucky" button.
