How many subscribers can one get?

    I was talking to a friend and in the course of the discussion the friend of mine inquired how many subscribers can a person get by doing SEO and Social media optimization activity for one year. let's say someone has 1000 subscribers, how far can one get from here. NO PPC or any media buying invovled.

    One SEO, free e-book, facebook fanpage, etc. No paid campaign.

    I am curious to know myself.

    i know there is no limit to that, but if you have to set a monthly target that... ok i will get at least this many subscribers each month then what it would be? I want to know this.

    What is a realistic target a marketing guy sets when thinking of expanding subscriber base.

    If you are confident that you are a compelling content then 8-10k mark is really possible. I've seen some reaching that figure in the past. Sometimes blogger's also go viral :)
