I'm making subdomain sites and just wondering how many is too many? Does anyone have experience doing huge-scale and can they let me know if it's ok to put 3600+ subdomains on a single URL before getting a new one? Also.. will google care if I have like 100,000 sub domain sites?

I have a huge example. Look sourceforge.net. They have been assigning many many subdomains for different open source project and I think thats uncountable:)

Well, if you look at the TLD's such as .com, then consider every .com as a sub-domain the answer should be clear.

There is no such thing as too many sub-domains.

Just remember when you get to a billion sub-domains Nintendo will detected it and start a thread on your activities and badger Matt Cutts until your domains get deindexed. ;)
