    I have 1 GB card with my Nokia 6600 and I have few thousand SMS in my inbox (I switched the saved messages from phone memory to memory card). It never gave me memory full message so I don't know whats the limit.

    Mine is a 2GB memory card and it can allot whole of the memory for messages, but i keep the inbox clean with a maximum of 100 messages probably :)

    im using pda and just 512mb sdcard..erm..last month i already delete more than 500 sms and mms..unlimited storage :)

    My phone can store around 200 SMS. But past 100 my phone gets really slow.

    2376 right now on my RAZR2. It has 2 GB internal memory, so I dont know how many messages can be stored :)
