you could have one site or you could need 100 or even 1000 sites. it just depends on your niche and the traffic really varies. depends on the CPC for the ads -- just find a high-paying niche and go from there :)

Try to focus on making a good useful site, not some crappy scammy adsense site. At least try to provide useful content if you are going to do that. There are so many people trying to make a quick buck. Try to come up with a good product, idea or service that you can profit from. Build trust and be perceived as being legit.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the forums!

I'd also add that you ought to be ready that it may take not a short period of time before you'll reach a desirable amount of monthly revenues. Besides, it's really important to choose a competitive niche for a site, but to my opinion, ideally, what you're gonna do should also more or less reflect what you wanna do.

    Good luck,

It all depends on the content.

I think that the best thing you can do is to focus on making one really good site. But remember that it will take time, very few will make $1000 in the first month, but might by the 12th. If you take it slow and build a rep then you will always have an income from it rather than simply making a bunch of spammy ones that may work only for a month or two.

$1000/month is easily doable with 1 website. It depends on your own preference. If you have lots of interests you could develop lots of smaller sites (more difficult to manage). Otherwise you should stick to 1 or 2 sites about what you know and like.
