    Hi Ishika,
    This is quite possible and practical. But as you can see we all stress on visitors and more specifically targeted visitors. This makes 5-10 page website impractical because a site with only 10 pages may hardly get a good ranking.

    Therefore the target has to be to optimizae your website and do all you can do to improve your SERP value. As you grow in SEO result, you start getting tons of visitors. Once you have visitors - you start earning.

    Earning is a result and your focus area should be optimization.
