How many sites on 1 hosting account?

How many Adsense sites do you all put up with the same hosting company? I'm not talking about the dumb "made for Adsense sites with spun articles etc." but a decent site focused on Adsense but with good content etc.

Seven was good for me, but when I put #8 up, my earnings took a nose dive. I'm using separate IPs, however, since they are with the same company, they are all in the same block of IP addresses.

    Thanks!!

Lifeplayer - I didn't think it should matter either with good content, but it does. All my sites are original content and not related or linked to from each other.

    Chris009 - What happened to u?

l3x - Sorry l3x. That just ain't so. I've read where people have gotten nailed with just 5 or 6 sites and some have gotten away with 20 - 30.

Please don't believe for one minute that "Unlimited hosting" means what it says. You need to read the fine print. Sure, you can have a gazillion sites hosted with comapny "ABC". Try driving traffic to a few of them at one time and you will get a letter telling you that you need to purchase a dedicated server because you reached 10% CPU usage. Which, by the way, is also advertised as "unlimited". As is bandwidth and everything else. It just does not work that way.

depends on hosting. If you have dedicated hosting, you can host more than shared hosting.

It really depends on the Hosting Company. If you have cPanel, you can monitor if you are ever redlining as far as your CPU resources are concerned. Some host say unlimited but that is a misnomer. If you reach certain parameters, they will pull the plug on you.
