I know it depends on the niche, the traffic, the conversion rate, the quality etc. but If you can't give a general response just say how many sites did you have when you made your first money and how many did you start with Extra question : Do you think e free blog on a blog hosting site would do the job or people tend to not trust the content and links on these sites?
Usually takes only one site to starting making some money. Free hosted blog is fine start. All you need is good content, good content bring lot of traffic, lot of traffic should bring money.
I use 1 site to make money. My site was set up for me for free from the program that im involved in. I also host a blog from my site. Fresh content is key. Jason
as others have said.. there are MANY people banking with just one site! However it is nice not to have to just one source of income, so many will diversify and start new ventures and sites.
well, you can start with writing your blog and when you have couple of posts start promoting site. Put link of your site in your signature and start posting on forums that have same theme that you are writing about it. Then sibmit your site to blog direstorys, make comments on other blogs and add your link and so on... and most important - make new content daily or at least 4-6 time a week.
once you start with a blog, then after earning some money , you can start more than one project..but it takes time to build good income.
