I have 8 active domains, trying to increase the ranking and traffic of them all is a large undertaking.
I read here and there on the forum that people were running hundreds of blogs at the same time, so I thought maybe some people were able to run the same numbers of websites. It appears than most of us are running less than ten sites, so that poll is not accurate enough for that matter. I didn't wish to count the blogs here, as if you're running 10 blogs and each post is automatically posted in 100 more, the final count would put the "classic" bloggers at a disadvantage.
Currently I have 2 blogs. I know you said they don't count, but I don't see why they wouldn't. They have their own domains and paid hosting. I've just started getting into the whole thing this month but I have an idea for 2 more blogs, 2 sites and 1 ecommerce site. Busy, busy. The blogs now are more for fun and learning, the ones in the future will be for money - hopefully the work pays off.
I used to own three websites. However, I sold one of them and the other two just weren't worth the time, and eventually the host had some problem with the servers and they both crashed. I currently own one website, which is ranked 100,000 by Alexa and has a pagerank of three
nearing 30 now. And I do manage them personally. New content on a fairly regular basis. Nurturing them carefully for the long term residual income
I've got 3...and a half (developing). Haha. So, why can't blogs be counted? I mean people devote their time to making those, too. And they still earn revenue off of their blogs as well.
