I own four, I manage seven currently. I want several more, ideas are thin. I can code the hell out of a site's backend, content and topic originality combined to target a profitable market are my weak points right now however. So I'll keep hanging out and see if something rubs off that helps.
That's why you need to get a team. No one can do all of the stuff at an equally high level. You need a dream team. I'm good at coding functionality, crap at design. So I team up with people good at design and less able to code PHP etc. Together you can do loads more (even more than 2 of you).
I have that. With the resources we've combined, I've enhanced my income and activity emensely! With the code I can write to enhance a site, the other side benefits. My benefit is using the ideas too and being told ways to implement them profitably. But that don't mean I'll stop looking for new ideas. My kid can read and do math now,,,soon I'll have free labor.
6 right now and helping my sister start her own site and my brother-in-law start one as well, then we'll help each other with running everything. Since I've started to do better with mine, I've had a few family members get interested in starting their own sites.
I have a couple domains, yet promote many products. To cut costs, I simply redirect visitors ot subdomains.
I have about 15 domains at verious stages of completion, some are completely up and running, some in development and a few may never see a website on them!
2, plus one in development. so nothing major. problem is, i don't know much about backend stuff and not a lot of extra money to do much with. I actually started all this out as a hobby as I was not working but was in grad school full time. Now i've become a lot more interested in staying at home to raise my kids, just don't have the know how to do that yet
My own: 2 active plus 1 Ebay store (if that counts ) Just run fulltime: 5 plus another Ebay store (again - if that counts) Plus I work a fulltime job (SEO related) and have 3 kids and a wife who like to see me once in a while.
I probably have around 15 sites but only 4 real big ones that I focus on, I also manage another 40 for other people.
none at the momnet i just sold my 3 sites for a total of $1850 not bad seeming it only took me 1month todo this My next project is going to be sweet
I have four live sites and seven domain names. I am thinking about taking down two of them. My newest site is taking off like gangbusters. (It's keyword article and web content-related.) There just aren't enough hours in the day, now, to maintain all four. Merry
Ferret, you are misnamed, you should be named Beaver as in "busy as a beaver." I manage about 20 sites and some days that keeps me hopping. Shannon
About 75. About 30 are affiliate sites that just sit around bringing money in. Like residual income. 10-20 are dead sites. About 5-10 are just waiting to expire. Then finally there's the content sites and a video game message board site.
