I have 30+ sites, but all of my sites are less than 1 year old. They all started out strong, but have seemed to fade.... Hopefully they will come out of the mythical Google Sandbox, and perform well!
I have 3 at the moment. My personal site, which has a blog, web design stuff, free templates, railway photography and video content, etc. My business, selling web hosting, advertising, design services, and PC software. This takes up most of my time. And I am currently developing a website about my school as part of my role as a prefect, where students can submit their thoughts and suggestions about the school, without teachers knowing who said what.
I have too much sites to count ,but earn less ,so I want to close some of them,which cant bring me cash....
I like that idea .. If you finish it . May I have the script for free, I'm gonna make something for our school. Thx, LeVampire
I'm searching for a script to use or adapt at the moment. Unfortunatly, I don't have the knowlage to make my own.
2 blogs and 1 site, but I do have a few blogspot blogs that do earn me some revenue. I wouldn't say to ignore those.
I know some want to count blogspost but it really takes no effort or money to get those started. People who get them on domains have to pay money and usually spend more time building backlinks and original content.
We have reduced from 55 to about 40 but will keep it at that quantity as we have weeded out the rubbish sites over the last 6 months or so.But we have a few domains vacant that if a project comes along that looks like making us some extra revenue we will start another site.
I get what you are saying. Something looks like a good idea at first but no matter the SEO work or content you wind up getting either little traffic or have trouble getting much earnings from it. Sometimes you have to cut your losses and put your effort in your other sites.
@domainer_10 i totally agree with you i have bought a few domain from DP that i think have some potential one recently we bought was a image hosting domain so we are starting a site using the yabsoft script which is alot more expenses that some of them out on the market,yes some are even free scripts but they do not have the extra facilities that a good script has !!! If anyone has a legal licence for the yabsoft top image hosting script i am looking for one as i only have 3 weeks on the trial version we may be able to strike a deal.
At the moment im running one blog about promotion tips etc, but hope to expand and start selling various templates and maybe start some sort of forum.
currently i run 1 medium site (news site ~ 7000 u.v. per day), 2 small blogs and i want to start another one this month
