Hey, I was just wondering how many sites I can actually add in my Analytics account as I would like to start adding a fair few more but I am going to be limited I will only put certain sites in there?
I have added 20 sites including the blogger blogspots . I think 100 can be added. A friend of mine has added 50 and it works perfectly for him. Regards Tehmina
Actually each account will only allow 50 website profiles. Once you hit 50, you need to create another account that is linked to your main account (so you can switch between them in the top-right drop down menu).
Ah ok, thanks guys that is really useful knowing and also what Christian Little said is another nice thing to know. Thanks!
Christian Little is correct, there is a 50 profile limit. You can create another analytics account from within your current account via the the orange bar where it says "My analytics Accounts." There is a drop-down list where you can select "Create New Account." It is really not a separate account with different account credentials - but this will allow you to add 50 more sites on the second account which you can select via the dropdown.
Usually all of them ... However, I don't understand why you would want to monitor more than your key sites in Google Analytics. Don't get me wrong Google provides a great tool. Unfortunately you don't have complex goal setting, keyword sale source, and other selling insights available in paid tools. It's also difficult to roll up keywords across multiple niche sites. You won't be able to see traffic trends across all your sites and Google Analytics doesn't let you compare by period. These are things you might need to do with a large number of sites to boost revenue. Best, Justin
