How many searches a month would it be necessary for to get a decent adsense income if you were to reach say, the first 5 search results for that keyterm?
you want to search it by yourself? never try it. it depends on the keywords of search,some keywords cpc very low,even 1-2 cents,some keywords give you even more than 10 bucks cpc. depends on how popular and density of the keywords the searcher search
That is such a relative question. What is a decent adsense income to you? You can't really calculate adsense income just based on getting a certain search engine ranking for a certain keyword. There are far too many other factors. It depends on how much the keyword pays, how many clicks your site can get per visitor, how many people actually visit your site, etc. You'll just have to test the waters and see how much money you can make. You can go into it expecting a certain figure or you'll just be disappointed if you don't get that much.
thanks for the help much appreciated, at the moment im only looking to make say a couple of dollars a day (which to me is a decent part time income) and then build it up from there.
google adsense income depends on various factors..................for example. 1. quality of your site content(if your website have not good content then you would not able to get highly paid ads at your site). 2. Ads quality score affects the ranking of the content ads( position= Maximum Bid for the keywords x google quality score for that keywords). 3. It is not necessary that top position will give you more revenue than second one. 4. Always try to improve your website content because you know very well, content is the king in this internet world. 5.
