Hi, I am in desperate need of traffic for my blog. My other methods are working fine but i could not increase my search engine traffic. I am getting around 40 visits daily. If I increase the number of posts to be shown on the blog home page I know that I can get more results(I already have that experience) but I want to get more search results without doing that. I would like people commenting on this and also every one please mention how many search visits are you getting daily for your blog. Also mention if you are using blogger (or) word press (or) any other.
Ther are many things you can do to help rankings and therfore traffic to your blog but by far the most effective way is to build your backlinks. Post your blog on social networking sites submit to blog directories go to relevent sites and get links from there. This should help with your rankings and in the end traffic.
Just started our blog 3 weeks ago and doing forums and blogs for signatures for back links to the site. To early to tell yet. I update the blog 6 days a week and it's on our site so I hope this will get us crawled more often and work towards more back links in the mean time.
I am SO proud - achived my goal on beeing no 1 on Google for my search words, on my one month old site. And I am number 10 on Yahoo for the same search words! Hurray! But the downside is that nobody search for those words. LOL. I get 1 hit every 2. day from Google or Yahoo. No worries, this is just a learning hobby. ;-) So now I must just convince the rest of the world to search for those same words.... ;-)
SEO would be a great a help. Having a signature to different boards and your domain name to all your accounts.
1. Your blog has to be attractive to comment, useful for the users. 2. A better ranking will increase the search engine visitors. 3. Try to always update your blog.
