    Hey,

Please give me an idea about how to choose keywords for a website. I dont want to go for very competitive keywords.

So how to find whether a keyword is competitive or not.

I know that its based on number of results on Google and also number of allintitle results. But am not sure about the number.

    Please give me an idea...

its not really about the number of pages, its about how many other good sites are in your way, and how many others are actively trying for the word/s.

if you have only 20 strong sites in front of you you'll take a long time to get second page.

allintitle: gives you an idea of how many others might be trying to rank for it, but they could be good or rubbish.

you have to analyse the sites at the top, middle and bottom of the first page (and the bottom of second page ideally) in your intended searches to have any real idea of the competition, straight numbers from searches dont really give you the info.

adwords click price is also an idea of how many are bidding, and how valuable the keyword is.
