How many Redirections allowed in a website

    I just want to redirect many of the pages in my website.
    Eg : abc.com/help.html to abc.com/helpguide.html

    Similarly nearly 250 pages, i am going to redirect. I just want to know is it legal to have this much redirections?? and how many redirections approved within a website as per google guidelines? Do you have any experience with this?

    Please help me with this

    There is no limitation for that. You can re-direct all your pages, but too much of re-direction for single page is not advisable.
