I was looking for a estimate on how many unique ip PR5 backlinks dose it take to get my PR3 site to a PR5. Lets say that each site has less then 10-15 outgoing links.
It would depend on exactly how mwny other links are on tose pr5's since you get a percentage of it's pagerank based on how many other sites are linked out. It would also depend on how many lower paferank pages link to your site, since even pr0's, pr1's pr'2 and 3's help a little. Even pr0 pgaes in your own site that link to your homepage pass a tiny amount of pr power. From what i read, a pr0 site has about three-quarters of the pr as a PR1 site so in other words that is the starting point when you create a new page
well i have loads of backlinks to the site now around 2k before the next update and about 200+ PR1+ there was a tool that I have seen on another thread a while back forgot to book mark it this tool shows you how much pr will get passed to your site from a site you specify dose anyone know what I’m talking about?
Why not optimise your pages, get links from related websites and jump SERPs = more traffic = $$$ Rather than chase the green bar.
i am but im trying to pass the PR4-PR5 bar that is the harders thing to pass ever im going for both mightyb my priority is what you said the PR is 2nd to me but i still want it to be higher its just nice to have PR5+
I agree...while higher PR does nor gaurantee more traffic, it does say something about a site when it is, say, PR6 The vistitor at least know the site is heavily linked and has a good chance for traffic.
build lots of high PR or low PR backlinks (PR is not that important because it is like a measurement of quality backlinks in a site) and wait for another Google's update and you can get PR5 in no time.
One of my sites has been stuck at PR4 for a few years but some of the search results for my preferred keywords have made a drastic improvements without doing anything that is not allowed.
Ask for link exchange from high PR site ( Even though most of them with just ignore you ) Try to get as much as you can and wait ... You will get PR5 in no time !
