How many PR5+ do follow links should I buy to make a difference?

I will be purchasing some PR5+ links to several of my newer websites (PR0) in order to get some more love from Google.

I will be buying these links for 6+months at a time.

Can some of the more experienced marketers here shed some light on how many of these links I should buy in order to be effective?

    Thank you in advance.

    are they related links?
I would worry more about traffic from those links, if google figures out your just buying the links for pr, they'll slap u

It totally depends on your niche/keywords. Just do this gradually and keep adding more links. It's impossible to tell how many links you'll need though.

Yes, the links will be 100% related.
Financial links for financial sites, game links for game sites, medical links for medical sites, etc...

I own a good number of websites in various niches and am trying to figure out what an effective link building campaign will cost me before I start throwing money around.

I am only planning to purchase PR5+ links because I feel that one PR5 link should be more effective then three PR3 links for example.

You may be able to find related blog posts that have page rank 3 or 4. If the comments are dofollow that is a great place to get free backlinks.
