So I'm just trying to get some advise on whether quality really is better then quantity. Does any one know the ratio here, because i've heard some claims that one pr 5-7 link is work 100's of PR 0 -1 backlinks. Is this true? Sounds a bit exaggerated to me Your help would be much appreciated..
Its not possible to say one number. Each backlink is unique and his quality depends on many factors - the topic of the page, number of other links on the page, domain authority, sitewide or not, in article or in sidebar, footer etc etc.
So I'm just trying to figure out the time and effort or cost someone might spend to get a pr 5-7 link, and if it might be better to spend the time and effort getting more easy links from lower page ranking sites. But i guess a mixture of both wouldn't do you to much harm. thanks
I think it still depends on how valuable the link to the site, I mean how quality does the link your are linking... I have some blogs that got more than 100 PR 1 and plenty of PR 0 but its still PR 0.
