Hello I am starting a new forum and before inviting people in I would like to have it prepared by puting in some messages from my older forum, so it does not look empty. How many do you think would look ok?
register 5-10 member by yourself and start chatting like crazzy and invide 5-10 to post exchange if you have around 50 members and 500-600 posts your forum looks good
Really depends on the posts themselves. If they are interesting and engaging then people will sign up. Id prefer a forum with 20 memebers and 200 really interesting posts than 100 and 500 crappy posts
I look for few interesting posts and the most important thing i look for is the date of last activity..to see if the posts are recent and if anything's going on in the forums..if the forums had 1000 posts from let's say January..I wouldnt evne bother with it.
You need some members and most important: content - many many topics and new ones created daily. I canot give you a certain number, but you need some serious activity (make post exchanges a lot to speed things up)
