How many posts before you start marketing your blog?

Well, I am just wondering, that what is the ideal no. of posts you should have in your blog, before you start marketing it.
or, what should be the minimum age of the blog, before marketing.

I'm not sure there is a minimum. It all depends on the nature and timeliness of the content

 

I started promoting my blog. Before I installed wordpress and buy domain. I told in a forum that I am going to start a blog and ask for help. Lots of people give me the advice and get a good traffic on very first day.

 

I started marketing my blog after I had only two posts. I installed a WordPress theme and kept on going from there. If you write unique content that your visitors are actually interested in, you shouldn't have a problem marketing it after you've posted only a few articles. The age thing definitely shouldn't matter. The people coming to your site shouldn't be able to tell the age of your blog anyways so that's really not a question from the marketing standpoint.

 

I think I started after a week of blooginh, so after the first 7 posts.

I honestly haven't done any blogs aimmed at content.

Though i have used wordpress as well as many other systems that are used for myspace and other designs.

I never marketed before i had at lest 10 designs. You want enough content to have reads stuck and not wanting to leave. Thust having them bookmark or add to favorites.

Blogs market themselves! Thats because each blog post is worth a few backlinks.
