yeah, 30 a blog containing 30 posts is worth promoting. i start promoting mine when it still contained 15 posts
One can start promoting his/her blog once there are 5-10 posts in his/her blog. You need to add posts at your blog frequently and btw you can't promote your blog once as this is continous process so both (adding posts and promotion) needs to go together. DON.
I agree with the 30 number. I try to write one post per day when starting a blog, usually writting several at one time so I get ahead a few days so I have a nice pipeline of future posts, and then I start promoting heavily while continuing daily or every other day posting.
Mid twenties should be more than enough, a lot of the factors depend on which theme you are using as well... otherwise with a standard theme, around 30 QUALITY posts should do it.
This is also discuss here:http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=952318 I had less than 10. I have now less than 30 and is working well, already jumped from PR0 to PR1.
Pakblogger: If your blog is not a niche blog, than you should create at least 10-15 posts before promoting your blog. Think about it for a minute, when a visitor comes to your site and let's say he likes your article that he read, he'll want to read more articles on your site and if you don't have at least 10-15 posts at the beginning, than'll leave your site.
great help guyz thank you for wondderfull responce. I think i should decide on 25 and then start promoting and writing content at same time. Thanx for your time guyz
even 1 post will work provided that its unique and do help your readers ... if they liked your post they wait for another one
Of course 1 super relevant post could be the minimum! But let's be serious a little bit With some relevant posts in a few relevant categories you will have a decent blog/website and you will gain from the pinging process And from day 1 you can do some post planification ( http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=832825 ) Don't forget one thing about Google, he likes fresh new content and relevant backlinks but he likes when things are done on a regular basis So add new content on a regular basis and do promotion on a regular basis too
Agree on this. I only had 5 posts on my latest blog when I started promoting it, that is daily posting which means it was only 5 days old. Time is very important in promotion. The first mouse gets the bigger cheese.
I agree with Deluxedon it is a continuous process so start after ten -15 posts and do it regularly after each and every new post!
