How many %people would you say search google with "" quotes?

    I know that you should use them seing as if you seached for Hot dogs,you could get anything from to poodles to weather forecasts,but how many people percentage wise would you say use them on google searches?

    depends upon your niche, I find I get 60+ targeted visitors per "keyword" than I do for keyword. This results in a conversion to sales of 30%

    I think people in general with little experience (=most) don't even know that you can use "" :p

    I think the only way "" comes up in a search pretty much if they do an advanced search with Google.

    From my site stats I get 1% of my hits from search terms with a quote in it. So I guess 1% ;).

    Gradually, more and more people are using the specified terms and the standard keyword targeted due to the presence of keyword suggestion pages and panels used by all the search engines.

    Phrase matching gives you a much more targetted understanding of who is searching for what. Broad can be a good starting place but as you look to find more I would recommend using phrase.

    I use them multiple times often, Espeically when finding links for file-sharing sites.
    "album artist" "album name" filesharesite.com/net/w/e

    But im guessing not that many ppl know these type of things exsist with google
