I've started using this browser again and i have to say its fantastic! just curious how many other poeple use this browser and if you dont use it why not ? browser issues? extensions etc? right now the only browsers i use are firefox and opera and im starting to shift more and more over to the opera side (i guess its really the firefox extensions which are keeping me foxxy)
hehe i thought i was the only one! looking at the world wide browser statistics im shocked to find that opera's got so few fans?
I used to use Opera and I was really Great Fan of it . I dumped Netscape and IE for Opera. It was really good at the time. Then I used Green Browser which was good but had some problmes later on. Then came FF. I am still using it.
I've been using Opera from almost the first release. Still use it now as my primary browser. Due to work/lifestyle purposes, I move about a bit and also use IE (5.5,6,7) and FireFox depending on where I am. I always find it hard to move away from Opera, more on the fact that the other browsers are "slow". By this I do not mean just rendering of websites, but also in the creation/removal/navigation of tabs/windows and memory issues when having many websites open at the same time. Only Opera right now can keep up with me. I have a copy of Opera Portable - http://www.kejut.com/operaportable on my USB Flash Drive which comes in very handy.
my biggest problem with firefox is the memory issues which is why i really like opera also i find it quicker than any other browser porting your bookmarks to other devices is also a great feature
I used to have opera browser some years back. But now I have shifted to using firefox and rarely IE -Dairyman
I use firefox mostly, but I like opera as well. IE....blah..The CSS problems with IE6,7 vs. firefox has wasted millions of dollars in work hours. Let's hope IE8 and Firefox 3.0 are more insync. I'm sick of CSS hacks. Also, I would like to see firefox manage memory leaks and other memory issues a little bit better. I am apt to have many, many tabs on multiple windows open at a time. When I check task manager, firefox could be at 150mb to 400mb of ram. I wish firefox would dump some of the memory for the tabs in the back. This isn't a problem on my 2GB system, but my 1GB laptop gets pushed to the max.
