    before i use adsense, i use adwords because my website is not ranked top 20 for the keywords i want in the organic search... one day i discovered adsense and since my seo has done reasonably ok later on, i don really rely on adwords anymore.. so now present only adsense... :)

    i did also try before paying yahoo $99 just for submitting to their index but was rejected for quality content guideline.. i was shocked! now they are indexing my site more than ever without even paying anything else... why? cos once Google loves you, Yahoo and MSN will bow to you...

    I use both but not for same sites, i.e. don't send visitors to sites with adsense via adwords. I use adwords to drive targeted trafic to product sites and generally spend around $7000 a month with them.

    I'm using just adsense at the moment but might look into investing the money from adsense into adwords later on depending on how much i get.

    I was also wondering this. Our site is a free webtool but we are trying to generate $ from adsense. Should I help drive traffic with adwords? I mean I don't see how the turnaround could be profitable
