How many people here actually make a profit via Internet Marketing?

I have noticed a common trend here is that people don't seem to be making any money at all from the internet, they actually seem to be losing it.

I find a main reason for this is how hard everybody seems to make out making a profit online really is.

IT'S NOT THAT HARD! In fact it's pretty simple once you don't over compliment things, get tha basics down and have an idea.

I am just curious to know who is actually making a profit and who isn't.

Any contsructive responses are appreciated.

 

I've been making money working online sense 1995.

The reason I say "working online" instead of Internet Marketing is because I've done everything from web design, development, application development, etc. I started out in the Adult industry as a porn affiliate and moved onto Internet Marketing around 2002.

Today I still have projects, other than Internet Marketing, going on such as I do security research (reverse engineering malware for the A/V industry) and other projects.

I believe if you're going to make a living online, you need to have more than one income stream if you expect to be secure in your online career.

 

I make profit via Internet Marketing since 2004. I started with a web directory.

 

I started making money online when I was around 17-18. People forget that it doesn't have to be complicated and things just need to be kept simple. If you want to make real income it has to come from various sources online, not just internet marketing.

 

This is KEY. There are some extremelly knowledgable posts in this thread already. It's nice to hear people are actually making a living on here.

 

lol, let me guess you're an affiliate marketer than makes money from driving PPC campaigns.

I make money from content websites.

 

Making money from a website or blog is easy.
There are many people who are making substantial amounts of money, while others are masters and gurus of IM

 

i made some money online but not as much as i think i should be,,,i collected my first check from paypal a week ago and was so happy,,,

i resently created a website called online-career.com that offers some top class affiliate program...

i would recommend local mobile monopoly if you have not heard about it as yet or if you have heard about it and want to learn more you can go there and check it out...

well, you know im lost as all hell here haha. I've spent about 30 hours researching this past week. My goal was to give bum marketing another try. I signed up for about 20 different article submission sites and blog websites. I chose a clickbank product with a high coversion rate rate. I made a 400 word article and went to submit it to ezine articles and I got a message saying that hoplinks from affiliates are banned.

I have made money in the past via internet with profit, and now I am starting over trying to do it again with my website.

Seeems like 80% never make a profit no matter how much energy they put into it.

I suppose a certain personality type is more suited for online marketing.

I for one get side tracked way too often to anything acoplished. I have probably been reading about internet marketing for 5 years now. haven't made a dime. Probably due to the fact that Ive been so focused on learning and not on taking chances.

 

I'm still making a profit. I don't waste time reading SEO eBooks.

 

Been doing very well with affiliate marketing for the past 4 years.

 

Affiliate marketing is the best way to go about it. Then from that point there there's a million things you can do to be very successful.

It is possible to make money from IM -
but it will not happen overnight.

And yes -
I do make money online -
