How many people have played a MMORPG? (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game). Such as Everquest, World of Warcraft, etc?

Yeah I've played a few. They're so addictive, you have to be careful.

^ True dat. I stopped playing them for the time being, and hopefully for a long time. They wasted too much of my time. Most of the ones out there currently are pretty boring now, anyway. "Grind grind grind, quest quest quest, hey, I leveled up!" and then you repeat the whole thing again. :p

That's true, there are alot of grinding MMO's. There are some with RvR (Realm vs Realm) that really help out the longevity of a game. World of Warcraft's RvR isn't well.. really RvR in my opinion. It feels very tacked on, besides all that game is about is grinding gear in a number of ways. I agree, some games out there are HUGE time sinks, while some others such as EVE online isn't really since the skill system is all time based, meaning that you can pick a skill and then go offline for a week and come back and your trained.

Even though EQ1 is basically the same way concerning grinding gear, I still miss it. Maybe it's because it was my first MMO I've ever played. But that game really brought back some fond memories and bonds with people.

I have experienced what the gaming world likes to call "World of Warcraft". To be honest, I really don't know why people get so addicted to that game. It's not that fun when you can get two characters to 60 on your "Free Month" subscription. *roll eyes*

The only multiplayer online game that I've ever played is Kdice.
And I got so addicted by the simple game that I've never dared to play another online game(massively multiplayer or otherwise :p) :D:D

I have only played one MMORPG in my life and that is Ragnarok. I currently don't have the time to play games anymore.

I hear that, I lost that appeal after my first MMO experience. It's a bit more difficult to stay interested now.

I played WoW for probably 4-5 months total. I stopped and started again about 5 times within that period. It doesn't have very good RvR. If they added more to PvP then having it just be an item grind I might be playing it still.

Although, I am looking forward to Warhammer Online & Age of Conan.

Well , i still play WoW at the mean time and i guess you're right if your talking about the expansion the burning crusade , cause i began getting bored of the game after that expansion, it's not really nice. and i heared that Warhammer is a great game, i would like to give it a try too :D.
