I have lived in Michigan for all off my life except for four years and have seen and been in snow for all my years. HOWEVER . . . . . . when on the roads here in Michigan, most people act like they've never seen snow before or have ever driven in it. It's a nightmare trying to get around when there's an inch or so on the roads . . .
We've got it all rain/snow/sun,however with current climat changes snow seems to be a far memory here...
I havent yet been introduced to snow in my part of country. But i did feel once when i was on camping.
We don't get much snow here in London anymore... maybe a few days every year... but we get lots of rain... lots and lots of rain...
Snow sucks. You people who haven't seen it aren't missing anything, I lived in Wisconsin for 6 years where there is snow on the ground for 4 to 5 months out of the year. Now I live in Virginia where we get a few good snow storms a year. In my experience the only people in the world who truly love snow are: 1. Students who live in an area where they miss school for snow (was one of these kids) 2. Teachers who teach the aforementioned students (both of my parents) 3. Snow plow makers 4. Skiers and snowmobilers Here's why snow sucks: 1. People can't drive in snow. There are a ton of accidents every year when it snows. 2. In places where it snows a few times a year (like here in Virginia) the local tv news will break into the show your watching to alarm everyone that there is snow on the way. Then every moron runs to the grocery store and prepares as if World War 3 is coming. 3. There is sand and salt everywhere from the roads and that gets tracked into the house and makes a huge mess. 4. Your car is constantly covered in salt and grime. 5. People don't pick up after their dogs when it snows so you get wonderful surprises on the bottom of your shoe when the snow melts. 6. In cold weather states like Wisconsin there is constant roadwork in the summer to repair all the damage to the roads from the salt and sand. That stuff makes all kinds of pot holes. 7. You have to shovel the stuff. 8. Black ice. Most people don't know about this stuff. It is where nasty dirty snow melts during the day and then freezes over night to make black ice (the same color as the road). You can't see it until you are on top of it sliding into the ditch. End of rant
I love the snow, how can you not love the snow. I feel sorry fot all of you who have never been in snow. You cannot beat anything like some good snow at Christmas.
I have never seen snowfall in my whole life. In my city, it never snows. However, I have definite plans to watch snowfall in January by going to upper areas of the country during our vacations.
I had stay in UK for a years when I'm still a kid, but unfortunately there is no snow coming down at that year.
