    Just curious

what is the opinion of the one page with no meta info, left when you go a index query

is that any better then a ban?

How do you tell if you are banned?

The results have been screwed since the algo change last week. My site (and Wikipedia!) dropped from the 1st 2 positions to the 3rd page.

The top sites in my niche now are occupied by many college .edu blogs that have been spammed with my main keywords.

Many of my pages in the index suddenly have no meta descriptions either.

Nothing to do now but sit back ... relax ... and wait for the dimwits at MSN to fix whatever they can. We should all be used to this by now.

I think pages without meta info are from your sitemap.xml file but not crawled yet.
With site: command i also found pages blocked by robots.txt (so they should not be there at all) and they all are without meta.
    Just a guess tho.

I'm seeing some impressive referrals from Windows Live (live.com) now on one of my sites - almost a third as much as Google is sending me. Most of my other sites show pretty poor traffic referral numbers for MSN & Windows Live (as compared to referrals from Google). One of these days, I might actually check where my sites are ranking in the Windows Live SERPs.

I don't even care about MSN. They give me practically nothing, but I'm still indexed.

I am only seeing that condition on addresses which are currently serving a 301 redirect.
