Interested to know how busy the average directory is. So how many paid submissions have you had so far this month? Ive had 4.
Ok. Its good to know people are making some worthwhile amounts of money from directories. It helps with motivation. I only bought my directory last week, its all new to me. What percentage of your directory income do you invest back into it?
300%, wowzer. I'll go with 100% for now, i've already pitched up $900 to buy it. What do you guys think of advertising my directory of directories on these sites: http://www.searchbliss.com - $49/month for a homepage link and description, and inclusion in a 800 member newsletter. http://www.best-web-directories.com - they have various advertising options from $14 to $50 a month. Seems to be a high traffic site, it is in the top 10 for 'web directories' in google and listed in yahoo dir. http://www.directorycritic.com - $20/month for a link and site description above its popular directory list. Any input would be great. Which do you think will generate the most income?
I mean advertising for traffic, not PR. Is that what you mean too? Anyway, directory critic seems to have the most traffic so Ive purchased a spot just now.
I have invested probably 10 times the amount I have made so far, site is only just over 3 months old, 6 paid submissions this month. I suppose once I get some pr it should rise.
I have had about 12 submissions so far this month across 4 paid directories. My free directory get about 200-300 submissions a day (a little hard to keep up with)...
New directories need more than 6 months to get a decent rank, and you should be care of sandbox PHPLD is my favorite.
