Seems many directory has its submission guide, no adult, no illegal, etc. For me, rejected 5 paid submission for gambling and adult websites last month, and up to now how many paid submissions do you reject or just keep all paid submission in?

I rejected 4 adult few mins ago, and 3 of them were submitted before, not sure why they do it, it clearly states no adult.

We rejected 3 in the last 48 hours but the total rejections per month are quite frequent, but we did not keep records

Interesting thread as we have just started to privately index the rejections we receive :)

    Hello...

Not many to be honest... 5-10 weekly

I accept sites that offer quality content or have some actual worth...

The rejects are usually affiliate sites that dont offer much or anything
as we dont get to much garbage willing to pay for reviews.

    thx

Maybe 25% on Zippy, mostly gambling. On LinkLister about 50% usually because they're not relevant to a UK user, I then refer them to Zippy which some take up.

    Hello...

Forgot to mention the ones that are quality and Didn't pay for the review..

Well now what i do with them is go to paypal and REQUEST payment for Services...

I figure if your ignorant enough to submit knowing their is a fee
and disregard then youve opened the door for me to request payment. ;)

I just sent an indian submission service the bill... :D

Now lets see what happens :p

    thx

Rejected 3 adult sites during the last 2 days...

I have it written write above the submission guide: "Adult site (or adult site reviews) will be Rejected". I wonder if these guys simply have extra money to waste...

They are probably better off starting a directory themselves and list their own websites...

    Hello,

I don't think that is ok paid listings to be rejected. Once they have paid... why to say "no" to their money? At free web directory we only reject links that are not paid and poor quality websites that do not comply with the quality guidelines or which don't link back. I also don't think rejecting gambling, pharmacy or porno websites, this is a good practice. They are all websites... The only important is the content and respecting the guidelines.

    Thank you.

Well, everyone to their own I suppose. We're all here to make a profit, and I'm sure none of us like sending money back, but at the end of the day I want a directory which will not lose me my PayPal account (gambling), and is family-friendly. I want submitters to see the site is edited with integrity to encourage quality submissions.

Wonder how many people reject "Loans" / "Bad Credit" websites!
there just seem to be so many of them!

me, i reject all loans sites under PR4, .... or they must have a good appealing look, which would convince me to become their customer! ... (if i would need a loan at all)

Directory is a place to list quality internet resources. Adult, gambling, etc are not family friendly. I know they could pay for the submission, but for long way, we would reject.
