    There is also a size limit on sitemaps. 10MB after unzipping.

    For best results, no more than 150k per HTML Page (if you are using PHP, then use View Source's HTML Page) Not including CSS, Images, and other files.

    But there is no size limit of your website, this is just for best SEO results.

    actual limit I don't know. But XML free site map version allows only 500 pages, if you have more than 500 pages, you have to buy the premium version
