How many page views does my site need before i can make $5 a day off adsense?

Basically that's my question. Right now I am getting between 400-800 page views a day for one of my sites.

 

A lot more if you're counting on only impressions. My site makes 3,000+ and I earn about 1 cent from impressions.

 

If you say what niche your site is, and whether it is a content site or a forum someone might be able to tell you what CPM to expect.

Without that information it's impossible to say - plenty of people get less than $1 per 1000 impressions, and plenty get more than $10 per 1000 impressions.

 

Depends on the type of traffic you're getting and your niche (if your niche invites lots of clicks). On my gaming site I get roughly $2 per 1000 impressions.

 

Even if you achieve 5000 page views, still you can't get $5 for adsense. It's the click not the page views. Try to have more traffic. I have 2 blog ranging a traffic from 100 - 200 but it gives me 3 - 4 dollars a day.

well as they told u before me do not count on impressions u wont get more then 30 or 40 cent every 1000 impressions count on clicks thats what get u real money

 

It is not so straightforward to answer that as the earning is also subject to the keyword of yours site.

 

Depends on the niche and ctr. Its all in the niche. Some niche have 1$ / click as far as 5$ a click.

There are a lot of variables. If you have a site with high paying keywords - I have a nursing school site and I get $1-2 per click - then of course it will only take five or six clicks a day to get to the amount of money that you want.
This may just be me, but if I were developing a site just for adsense, I would not bother going with keywords that don't pay well.
Also, how well is your site adsense optimized? I used a free adsense optimized wordpress theme and paid someone to put in a picture in the banner for me. The better the site is designed for adsense, the more likely it is that people will click on your ads.

 

i had 4k impressions today and resulted for $7 ... i donno whether my clicks is low or my niche is not for adsense but still i'm enjoying this moments...this week, my blogs are consistently makin me $5- $7 per day ...it kinda suck and draining but for it's autopilot ability...heck i don't mind at all...seriuosly...i'm already happy with my affiliate sales and my products sales....combined ...i'm buying a new car this month cash !!! heheh

 

Someone PMed me asking me a few questions about article submissions and I'm cutting and pasting my reply here, hope it's helpful:
When I first started writing articles I got the vast majority of my traffic just from the article directories. I submit unique articles to each directory - I just rewrite the same article from beginning to end so I am saying the same thing but phrasing it differently.

Now that my website has been indexed by Google I get about 1/3 of my traffic from ezinearticles and associated content, and the rest is all from organic search.

I tried submitting my articles and posts to stumbleupon, digg, propellor, Magnolia, and other social bookmarking sites - it didn't help much at all. I'd get maybe a couple of visitors and they would leave immediately without clicking adsense ads.

it depends on where does your traffic come from. my proxy's traffic mainly comes from usa. today, i have 370 impression with 3 clicks. earning is already
$1.87

 

Nobody can predict that. Sometimes 10 visits and 5 clicks are enough.
Sometimes even 1000 unique visitors won't earn you $5.
It depends on various factors like CTR, niche, etc.

 

Google official number is $1-5 per 1000 page impressions. My site has ca $3.5 per 1000 impressions.

 

I'm not sure bout that Netmark, I get nothing from page impressions.

 

It's not about impressions ir's about clicks and traffic it depends on many things especialy on the niche ...
