How many page views do you get per visitor

    How many page views do you get per visitor.

    I cant get more then 3 but i just have 14 pages and 1000 to 1500 visitor a day.

    Depends on the site. I see about 2 pv per visitor a lot, but some sites get more like 4-5 or more views per visitor.

    I average about 2.8 page views per visitor on about 1,400 unique visitors daily.

    geez, i get 2 usually, but i only average around 30 to 50 visits a day, where do yall get the traffic?

    I guess not too many people searching for affordable graphic design, i rank on the front page, like number 3 i think, but i only get about 6 or 7 a month from google, one from yahoo ever, just a few from msn, and a couple from live search, nothing in the thousands though. Most of my visitor come from DP and other froums

    I feel like a bit of a loser here. I get about 1.25 to 1.28 pages per visitor on my blog.

    I have instituted tell a friend, lots of related posts, lots of links around the page to other pages on my site but it seems to not help and I still get not a lot of clicking around

    Think about it like this - if they're on your home page, someone could read 5-10 "pages" without ever viewing another page...

    Some sites split articles up into 4 different pages, so if someone reads that one article it gets them 4 page views right there.

    It depends a lot on the site, whether the content is text heavy or image heavy etc.

    On one of my sites that is effectively a gallery, with an image on each page, i get around 7 pages per visitor, which is very high. However, on another one of my sites, which is text heavy, i get around 4 pages a visit.

    mine is about 2-3 pageviews. forum typically gets higher than websites and blogs since people keep refreshing pages and visitin other threads etc unlike blogs.
