Hi all, When i am selling links, I am just wondering what should be the maximum amount of outgoing links i should have and how many outgoing links does it take to: a) Affecting my PR (PageRank). b) Lower the value (price) of my links when selling them. Thanks. Ash
a) this is a math question that can only be answered if you understand Google's Page Rank scoring system. I don't have a command over their algorithm, and I don't expect many people do. b) Obviously, the fewer the better. If your site has more than 20 outgoing I wouldn't be interested. Even more than 15 is kind of unattractive. My opinion is that you should try to keep outgoing link sales under 8-10, and have a total # of outgoing links at 15ish. Also, if the outgoing links are relevant to your content and go to high PR sites, the search engines will look at your site with favor.
Well one things is sure, one must have inbound links at least 3 times than that of the outbound and i think that will feel great.. and of more PR (inbound)....
Around 30, anything over than that is overkill already, but it also depends on the amount of content you have on that page.
I am talking about this page: http://www.wiiplus.net I do not want too many links on the sponsored links bit (footer) and the current site is PR5.
