I do but not from India !

 

I can't speak Tamil but i can speak Marathi very well.

Prabhakaran assassinated the mayor of Jaffna at the age of 21! Founder and leader of the LTTE, a terrorist organization, pioneered the use of suicide bombers. His leadership is responsible for numerous deaths of innocent civilians.

• The Tigers killed 60 Muslims at Katththankudi in 1985
• In 1990 103 Muslims were massacred in side the mosque at Kattankudy
• In 1991 at Palliyagodella 109 Muslims including women and children were hacked and shot dead
• The Dehiwala train bombing resulted in 64 civilian deaths and wounding 400 others
• The Central Bank bombing killed at least 91 people and injured 1,400 others

Need I mention the Rajiv Gandhi assassination in 1989?

Ruthless and cunning, he's responsible for forcefully recruiting children into the LTTE.
I understand him wanting the Tamil people to be freed from discrimination.. but the way he went about trying to solve it was horrible.

i accept prabkaran did some mistakes, but no one can question his sincere commitment towards tamil cause.

Present lankan minister Karuna personally ordered for the abovesaid massacres.

The Valvettithurail masscare was in retaliation for the killing of IPKF soldiers.

The tamils got what was coming to them... in a country where less than 15% are Tamilian... they have the audacity to ask for a separate state?! Instead of trying to work together, they wanted separation?! And went about blowing people up.

I still feel that despite the recent victory of the LTTE, if the country of Sri Lanks has to ever be truly free and peaceful... they should 'get rid' of the rest of the Tamilians... coz nobody knows when some idiot is going to blow up someplace. Why should 85% of population live in fear?

I know I'm sounding ruthless despite me being more related to the Tamil people...

jamuna, with reference to your posts, i feel that the tamils in sri lanka could have peacefully asked for a devolution of powers to them i.e., more powers to the government of the tamil provinces, that would have been a far far better solution than going about killing people. And I dont understand one thing about terrorism, if person X is angry at person Y's behaviour, how does killing a different person Z make Y change his behaviour?? I really dont understand terrorism and killing innocent people in the name of some cause

with reference to the earlier posts which talk about massacre of innocent tamils by sri lankan government, its sad that the sri lankan government has chosen a dirty and dangerous way of resolving the tamil problem, by wiping out every direct and indirect supporter of the tamil cause using any brutal means necessary.... even KPS Gill who resolved the problem of militancy in Punjab used such brutal methods to wipe out all traces of terrorism from Punjab,.... Also, as part of this same strategy, I feel that the Sri Lankan govt could have captured Prabhakaran and other top LTTE leaders , but they thought it better to finish them off....

what jamuna has written only confirms what i felt, that the sri lankan govt is very brutal and heavy handed in dealing with the ltte, (which is still reasonable since ltte has resorted to terrorism) but its sad that they are not treating the tamil civilians there well

You've posted 10 maybe 15 incidents... the LTTEs list of atrocities are huge. And as I have mentioned earlier the Sinhalese should annihilate all Tamilians (hostile and non-hostile) if they should have a chance at a peaceful life.

But why argue now... Prabhakaran is dead. Charles Antony is dead. LTTE is more or less smashed and finished. Any more rebellious Tamil heads that rise should be chopped off (metaphorically speaking)

But the reasons for tamil uprising still exists there.
You must understand why tamil youths took arms in past?

 

In that case, Muralitharan will play for Indian team.

Even better, he will be playing all matches for CSK and we can play an additional Foreign player.
