I have been registering many domains and trying to sell them,,

some of the catchy names I have are www.MyAXN.com and www.MakePal.com

I am going to quit if more people here advise me to do so, I have lost hope in making money through domaining. :(

Anyone has a similar story lke mine?

Lots of people make money from buying and selling domains. The domain forum in B/S/T is one example. Without major names, margins may be low, but if you deal in large numbers, you can make excellent profits.

Nobody will say that domaining is an easy job nowadays
If you had the vision and the money back in 1994 now would be a walk in the park but now it's a walk in the "hell"

You can't sell easily, there are too many offers around
Competition and ignorant buyers usually bend the courage of most domainers

I've seen it too many times
A newbie buy a worthless domain list for $XX,XXX and then drop it because can't find a buyer

    What is gambling domaining ?
If you see domaining similar to gambling then maybe it's time to find another niche to trade
Domaining is just like any other business
If you open your mouth and wait for a chocolate pie to land on your teeth i'm afraid this will never happen

Buying and selling domain is just like trading in stock, if you research well and luck favors you, you can make a decent profit.

welcome to reality, it ain't easy. and gets harder every day as more money flows in. you can still flip profits if you develop a bit and sell a website along with the domain.

All business involves risk. If you make good, informed decisions, then it is different than gambling, which involves mostly luck.

Domaining is very tough. Competition is also too much. People who have more money are surely going to have larger and premium portfolios.

If you want to create a premium portfolio then you will have to work hard save every penny and then also have the guts to invest that hard earned money back into domaining and take more risks.

Most of the good domains are already registered. You should be able to pull a profit with a lot of work by buying already registered domains and reselling them. However, make sure you do your keyword research. Best of luck.
