How many of you have seen Satyajit ray movies?

    I friends, i'm an aspiring film director myself and I'm a very big fan of Satyajit Ray... As many of you would know Satyajit Ray is one of the best directors that India or the world has ever produced....


    So my question is that, how many of you have seen Satyajit Ray's films?

    Well, i don't know any movie of Satyajit Ray...But i have heard that his films are good.

    It would be nice if you tell me names of some of his movies. :)

    Hi check out
    sathyajit ray's films:
    pather panchali
    Aparajito
    Apur Sansar
    charulata

    They are all worth watching and no Indian director has done such films.... All international standard movies......specially pather panchali, which won him an award at the Cannes.....:)

    hvent seen any of his movies..but he is considered one of the BEST directors in the country has produced..

    I think some of his movies should be re-released.... It would be a good lesson for today's film makers....:)

    I haven't seen his film except for the documentary which i saw one and half years ago, which had the small portions of his original movie in a book fair....It seemed well scripted at those 50s cant compare to the present generation films.....Sad end!!!!!!!:eek:

    Hey buddy , i assume that you must have loved that documentary...But I'm sure if you watch any of his feature films you would love it even more..... Believe me i have watched some of his best works.... I could very well say no Indian film maker other than Satyajit Ray could have done such classy movies.... India should be proud of his work.....:)
