I mean intentionally.. By means of clicking from other computer, like schools, workplace? Did you manage to get caught? Edit:Wrong forum
Never.. Infact, I am also scared to open my site from the ip address I used to register the site witha adsense..
NEVER. Sometimes I am even aware to click ads on others sites, except the search ads of Google itself. Always worried I get on a blacklist if I click Adsense ads too much while reading about it on forums and stuff. I am really paranoid when it comes to Adsense.
I accidentally clicked once in my sites . I immediately mailed google adsense. Got a reply, warned me about the consequences..... So, NEVER click your own ads...
When reading about people accidently clicking their own ads, I've always thought that you couldn't be that stupid, but I had it happen to me recently, aimed for a link just below the ad, then clicked in the same moment that something else loaded and the browser moved everything down a bit. Didn't mail google about it and havn't been banned - yet I don't click others adsense ads intentionally either.
I will not as I do not like to do anything that will hurt a revenue stream, much less to increase the income by a few cents.
Exactly. In the end it would only hurt you. When you influence the system of Google, advertisers in the end get bad results and your website income would go down. It would earn less money per click when there are many clicks that generate no sale.
Well, i know sometimes you got a little attention with it like they are showing some really good stuffs so you really want to see what is like. The only trick i have found that you can visit those ads is by search the site in another window so you won't have to click the ads to access in the page web you want.
I wouldn't say "stupid" , just that I was doing local development of website, but I forgot the ads are live, that's why i accidentally clicked one of them. Just curious anybody got any ideas on how to prevent adsense from appearing on our own pc when viewing? Can a proxy server do that? Thanks
instead of the ad replace it with an image the same size (i.e 728x90), that way when u designing ur site u know where the ads will be once u go live replace the image with the ad that way u dont get false impressions and clicks
