Never, but a few days ago i had a issue with a content writer. Payed him in advance, as i always do for small ammounts and he delivered 1 article that was... well, not quite i was expecting. So, he kept the cash (uau $15...!) and i moved on to one of my usual writers. But there is always a fisrt time.
I did waste a lot of time (= money) but I guess you have to go through that to learn how to do business online.
Not yet, but I'm always worried about it whenever I have something on my site updated by someone else (which is currently happening!!!)
Been scammed 2 times total money lost was around $300 but that was long back and since then I've been watchful against them
I've been cheated a total of 2 times. Got my $50 back via filing a Paypal claim the first, and I'm waiting for a decision back from Paypal for $40. If you don't want to get cheated, ALWAYS wait for review copies/purchases made by other people to ensure that the service is legitimately being provided. Don't trust the amount of iTraders a person has -- I just got scammed by a guy who had 15 iTraders.
I haven't got cheated yet, and hope I never do. I have had people on here send me messages witch I am pretty sure were scams. I always just delete them.
Financially, nope, never. But I never go into BST. And I wasn't exactly born yesterday. All my deals on DP are done under the table/behind the counter etc...
I've only bought once here and the same thing crossed my mind. How do know who to trust? Will a permanent link really be permanent? If not, is it better to go monthly? I guessed that if the trader is a regular at DP then it should be okay and you can dispute it with PayPal but no one wants extra hassle.
Not cheated but possibly misled about the quality of some services, such as content writing which reads like it has been thrown together by a 7 year old. You live and you learn.
Not ever here. I'm very picky about who I deal with - that applies equally to when I'm buying or selling.
