Don't worry, this isn't a personal question about any sex change. I know that we all are used to guys pretending to be the opposite sex on their websites, myspace, forums, etc., but I was wondering how many here actually try it? Personally, I can see the benefits to it in that if you look at some myspace profiles, sometimes 75% of a friends list is made up of attractive models who are just there promoting a guide or some other service. I view this as amusing and would never fall for it (although I know some do). More so, I've lately been noticing some people who have a site and a picture of an attractive female claiming to be them, but when I go to another site (owned by the same person), there's another picture of them and it's a 40-year-old guy. On forums with avatars on them, I've noticed an unusually high rate of "attractive" females with pictures on it. I personally don't fall for it and think that it can make them lose credibility, but how common is this? Do any of you do this? Brian P.S. Are any gals here trying to pretend to be guys?
