How many of you got your paaypal account limited?

How convenient! On the day they were supposed to allow me to withdraw funds into my bank account. They pulled up the last transaction I made to say that it caused the limitation. The last transaction I made was to buy myself a PREMIUM membership here at DP, lol.

I think I am more than convinced that I need to change from PP. I would be stupid not to.

 

I am using Indian Paypal Account and Personal payments for India has been stopped Since Jan 28th but For yesterdays Goods Payment they have limited my account with a reason Quoted above!!


What is this?

They have limited my account too. Can anyone tell us what should be done/said to them so that we prove the payment received are only personal payments and not for goods/services.

 

This is exactly what i have been worrying about..

What all are they asking you to do in the Resolution center ?

i made a transaction to freelancer.com for my gold membership and they limited my account.

here i got this message from paypal

received Personal Payments from other PayPal account holders. Until we are
able to confirm these transactions are not intended for personal
remittances you will not be able to withdraw funds to your Indian bank
account. We can only process payments intended for goods and/or services

actually for goods and/or services, or if they were indeed personal
payments.

I think this is bound to happen, dunno whats gonna happen to my recent transactions too. just hoping for the best.

So they will charge for the transaction, say as personal payment ... Reverse the Bank withdrawals and Limit the paypal account......

Paypal is F**king these days... I do know what the hell they need from us!!

 

But how can that be receiving personal payment when you have actually payed someone else ?

 

We all need to change from PayPal, but there's no where to go. They are the biggest scam/monopoly on the internet today.

This happens to everyone (eventually) once, and it shouldn't happen again. It happened to me last year, and since then I haven't had a single problem with Paypal. They are just making sure your income stream is legit. I would even go as far as saying that it's not Paypal's choice to put your account under review, but the governments. Money laundering is huge online.

 

lol but u say ur from India ur location is from Lowell ??? if u fake ur locataion ur bound to be suspected

 

I think almost all accounts with huge personal payment done earlier will be limited. Many people haven't noticed their limited account it seems.

Paypal has charged fee for personal payment, blocked GIFT payment long back to India and now they need us to provide proofs.

NOTE :: They are not asking proofs for all personal payment. Only high value personal payments are questioned. In my case, only a single transaction of $400 is questioned.

Questions asked:
1. Provide a full description of what the payment was for
2. Provide tracking information if you shipped the merchandise
3. Provide details of other payments related to this transaction or set of transactions
4. Provide information on any relationship or arrangement you have with the people involved with this transaction or set of transactions
5. Provide any email correspondence between you and the buyer(s)

Now, please can anyone help us. I need to know satisfactory answers to these questions.

yesterday i recived my reversed payment with$34 less and then now they limited my account coz i made a transaction to buy goldmembership from freelancer.com

and situation is even worse when these shithead mailed me and said I recived personal payment...how dumb is paypal team

 

when you send Personal payments then make a transaction with option tab: Personal payment => Share expend(default)
lower cost for this option!

to use Good/Service payments, you account must be Premier/Business, because your business account is verified for website payment

 

mine is premier account and its verified from may09.

i use freelancer.com website to deposite/buy the membership on 28th.

 

Simply, tell your buyers to call paypal and let the paypal know that your buyer has received the items successfully and there is no need to investigate that transaction. The only thing is that your buyer should co-operate you.
