I know it's probably on the most experienced and richer internet marketers here who's actually using PPC. I have dabbled with it before, but am currently only using free advertising methods, but am wondering if I should start upping my traffic again with PPC. I was wondering how many of you are using PPC (or other paid advertising) on a daily basis and what is your daily budget? Would appreciate it a lot if you can answer me this. I am doing some research on this. Thanks.
Well, both of those questions have a LOT to do with several things: - What can you afford to spend? - What is the advertiser competition in your PPC space? - What do you hope to get from the click? Signups? Paying customers? - What's your conversion rate on your site when you have a non-PPC visit? The PPC advertising is just one variable in the equation...I could give you answers, but they depend heavily on the above and wouldn't mean much.
I'm using PPC and my daily budget is around $500.00 - $1000.00 ( Depending on the day ) -- I tend to run more money over the weekend as that seems to be the best times for sales.
I work for one of the UKs leading SEM company and we have clients whos budget from £15 to £7,500 per day.
Well, I guess if you can find a campaign that is profitable, it doesn't matter what your budget is as long as you have the cash flow to support it.
exactly. Everyone's budgets are going to vary widely. If I said I was spending $100 and another person was spending $1000 you'd have no idea of the ROI's. One could be 100% ROI and the other could be 10% ... who's making more money now? PPC is all about testing, tracking and optimizing whether it's with Google, Facebook or others.
Google Adwords is the main source. I also use several other networks Microsoft Adcenter and Yahoo as well.
Considering Google commands more than 85% of the market share it is advisable to achieve success on Google before moving into to Yahoo, Bing and social media sites.
