I recently started working on facebook for traffic and i am getting good response.

It only works if you can get pages with hundreds, or thousands of fans/members. After that, it should be quite simple. Creating more, linking, and etc.

facebook can give you your targeted traffic that you are looking for just start your fan page and start working on it and try get lots of fans this really helps.

I use facebook, twitter, youtube, myspace, and flickr. They've been doing good to me.

 

Driving traffic is one thing.
But at the end of the day, it's what you have as content in your blog, website, etc. that makes the difference.
Not to mention the product that you are selling plays a big part.
Also, i don't believe that by having a mediocre idea and posting it on FB will drive huge traffic to you site. Making a fan page of even a group for that matter, only brings in people to see your page initially, eventually the traffic is short lived and it'll die off.
So, don't waste your time trying to gain traffic into your site by having a mediocre idea, content, product or service for sale.
Have a GREAT IDEA, otherwise,
It just doesn't work.

I have a facebook group having 200+ members. I get some traffic to my website from the group.
To get huge traffic you have to gather several thousands members in your facebook group who participate regularly.

 

I use facebook for posting referral link.

 

Facebook groups are awesome cause it sends emails and fb notifications when people post. Thats huge for getting attention.

 

This is something i'm really interested in aswell. Would any of you say it's made a big difference to your business?
