how many of you are still keep blogging?

an problem confuse me for a long time. I have keep 20 blogs for more then 3 months, nearly update them very day. and most of them have been indexed. however, it seems that there is no help for the keyword ranking and traffic of my site. is blogging still an effective way to boost the ranking and traffic? how many of your guys are still keeping blogging?
and some of my blogs have been add 'nofollow'. need I still to keep these blogs?

 

Yes, i still blogging. Quality is more important than quantity. It is not easy to take care many blog at same time. Better focus on 2~3 blogs, input more quality content and work on the SEO

 

How can you grow your readership on that 20 blogs? Focus on one at a time.

I have been blogging for more than a year and I will not stop doing it.

 

Creat blog is due to promotion your site,so do not own so many blogs,just make them with a high quality is better.

 

Yes, Blogging is still on. But not as many as you told. It's hard rather impossible to handle 20+ blog.

I have around 30 blogs and have been blogging for the past 2 years already. Unlikely to stop at this juncture

 

I have about 300-350 blogs, they post all by themselves.

With all Google's penalties, algo changes etc that wipe out legitimate sites with years of work done to them i don't see the point in putting in tons of effort in a site just to be penalized.

I have few blogs that help my site. What I do is to focus on few blogs first until they got PR and good rankings then create new one's..

 

Blogging is a fine way to gain traffic as long as you gain backlinks so Google applies more authority to your blog for your keywords. It makes it pretty hard to keep going without getting backlinks.

If you are into autoblogs, you might not have that much success as it may have duplicate content. However, if you are using unique content to update your blogs, there could be a problem. Its because you have got too many, you cant possibly update them all with original content and promote them too, they will all suffer as a result.

 

I agree it is about quality. I would also suggest keeping a tight niche and not make the blog too gneral or it will be hard to establish. I now have one blog where posts are indexed in minutes and if keywords are not too competitive the new post appears in top 10 of google serps witihn minutes.
