    It is much more lighter than Vista, that what I can say. Running it with a P4 2.4, 512MB, with no problem(yet). Only thing is, only few anti virus software are supported only currently.

    I have only heard good things about win 7 so far. I'm one of the many who have had mixed reviews of Vista.

    Have patient boys, it's still in BETA phase. IE8 too. So dont blame cuz it have bugs. Of course it's have. That's why it's called "BETA" :D

    Windows 7 is nothing but a modified form of vista. Instead of releasing a service pack update for Vista, they just changed the name because Vista has had a lot of negative publicity.

    win 7 has smth that is called the power shell and it looks like the terminal in linux in some ways, but windows will never be compared to linux. I am trying win7 now and its pretty fast, good graphics, till now to porblems, also no problems with drivers

    i am on windows 7 for one and half month and evaluated it. Wrote 18 pages tutorial for microsoft as i did for vista as well. In windows 7 they the covered almost every bug which were in vista and it will rock soon. i must say, best yet release of Windows OS yet, much better then XP either.

    *windows 7 is for those who have hardware to run this.*

    I wonder if it deserves Boot Camp installation on my Mac. I had Vista installed but I deleted it because it wasn't worth its 15GB partition. Maybe I should give it a shot.

    I'm not right now. I really don't see the benefit as there are lots of bugs with drivers right now. In addition the performance difference between it and Vista is really not as big as they're saying. I game some and primarily Vista still gets higher frames due to driver's w/ Windows 7
